Texas LPCs currently have two training options available. We offer the at-home 40-hour Texas LPC Supervisor Training for those interested in upgrading their license to LPC-S status. Additionally, we provide a six-hour Texas LPC Supervisor Ethics Refresher course, which is designed to meet the licensing renewal requirements for individuals holding the Texas LPC-S license or needing six hours of Texas ethics training. All LPC supervisor training courses meet (and exceed) the most current licensing regulations. The latest LPC rule changes were posted on 3/25/2026, and our courses have been updated accordingly.
In July 2026, we will introduce three new LPC supervisor courses and products to further assist supervisors, so please check back for updates.
Course materials are emailed to the address provided during registration within 24 hours of purchase, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). You will complete the course as instructed and return it via email. Detailed instructions will be included with the course you select. Please avoid using government or school district emails, as attachments (the course materials) often do not pass through firewalls.
Our courses consist of simple at-home readings, reflections, inventories, an overview of the latest LPC Board Rules and forms, BHEC guidelines, navigating the licensing website, and case scenarios, with no videotaping or hidden time drains involved. No video watching or outdated materials are necessary to complete our Texas LPC supervisor training courses. If you are an in-person interactive learner who prefers auditory or visual learning, this may not be your ideal choice. However, if the time and cost of in-person training are barriers, and you value high-quality, hands-on resources along with a comprehensive library of materials and lifetime one-on-one consultation, this is your best option.
All training materials, including articles and forms offered with the 40-hour trainings, are provided free of charge to help you build your resource library. Each course is updated within one to two weeks of any licensing rule updates. We take pride in our 18-year history of delivering consistent and top-notch training. Additionally, we offer free email consultation for 40-hour trainees for life (or until Dr. Clifford retires), a proud service provided since 2005.
