There are currently two training options available for Texas LPCs. We offer the at-home 40 hour Texas LPC Supervisor Training for Texas LPCs interested in upgrading their license to the Supervisor status. We also offer the six-hour Texas LPC Supervisor Ethics Refresher course designed to meet licensing renewal requirements for those who hold the Texas LPC-S license or provide six hours of Texas ethics. All LPC Supervisor Training Courses meet (and exceed) the most current licensing regulations. The most recent LPC Rule changes posted on 8/20/24, and our courses were updated and ready to go!
Course work is emailed to the address provided at registration within 24 hours of purchase, Mon-Fri (not holidays). You complete the course as instructed and return by email. More in-depth instructions provided with the course you choose. Please do not use government or school district emails. There are attachments (the course) that are often not allowed past the firewalls.
Simple do-at-home readings, reflections, inventories, overview of the newest LPC Board Rules and forms, BHEC, navigating the licensing website, and case scenarios with no videotaping or other hidden time drains comprise the course. No video watching or outdated materials or internet access required to work on our courses. If you are an in-person interactive learner that prefers auditory or visual learning, this is not your top option. However, if the time and expense of an in-person training is prohibitive and you want the quality and hands-on, easy to go-to library of materials and lifetime one-on-one consultation - this is your choice.
All training materials, including articles and forms offered with the 40 hour trainings, are included free to build your resource library. Every course is updated within one to two weeks of each posted licensing rules update. Our 18 year record of consistent and top training is a proud achievement. Free consultation via email for 40 hour trainees for life (or when Dr. Clifford retires) is another proud achievement - provided since 2005!
