Rather than relying on hours of recorded content that can quickly become outdated, the written course can be updated as Texas rules and professional practice change.
Your training materials do not disappear when the course is complete. The downloadable format means the materials are yours to keep and access directly, without returning to a training platform, logging into someone else’s website, or trying to remember where you learned something. Supervision Training for Texas Counselors
Texas LPCs have two excellent training options available: one for professionals looking to become an LPC Supervisor in Texas or to keep up to date with continuing education. We offer the at-home 40-hour LPC Supervisor training, perfect for those who want to upgrade their license to LPC-S status. Additionally, our six-hour Texas LPC Supervisor ethics refresher course is designed to meet the licensing renewal requirements for individuals holding the Texas LPC-S license, or those who need six hours of Texas ethics training. All of our LPC Supervisor training courses in Texas meet and exceed the latest licensing regulations, with updates reflecting the most recent LPC rule changes posted on 3/25/2026. For outside of Texas, check with your state licensing board.
In fall 2026, we’ll be launching three new Texas LPC Supervisor training courses and products aimed at providing further support for supervisors, so be sure to check back for updates.
Course materials for the 40-hour LPC Supervisor training are emailed within 24 hours of purchase, from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). You'll complete the Texas LPC Supervisor training course as instructed and return it via email, with detailed instructions included with your selected course.
Our training is composed of straightforward at-home readings, reflections, inventories, an overview of the latest LPC Board Rules and forms, BHEC guidelines, navigating the licensing website, and relevant case scenarios, with no videotaping or hidden time drains involved. There’s no video watching or outdated videos required to complete our Texas LPC Supervisor training courses. If you are an in-person interactive learner who prefers auditory or visual methods, this may not be your ideal choice. However, if time and costs associated with in-person training are obstacles, and you value high-quality, hands-on resources alongside a comprehensive library and free lifetime one-on-one email consultation, this Texas LPC-S training is your best option.
